We will spread the gospel throughout Fiji:

Ni SA Bula! Nameste!
Welcome… to all our partners in the progress of the kingdom in the Fiji Islands. |

The Wright's home served as our meeting place. As God never stumbles upon things, Allen spoke with Steve Watson (campus minister of University of Georgia) who was planning a mission trip ‘somewhere’. We had teams coming from Georgia and later from Alabama University once every year –which we called the May Campaign. They would stay for approximately two weeks and conduct one-on-one Bible studies with anyone interested. We thank God for the World Wide Bible Study students.

By reaching out to all the people of Fiji. Serving all of the cultures included within our community.

We began our work with the Wright family (Allen, Julia and their 3 children) a missionary family that committed their work to Fiji. Initially they began work with the Raiwaqa Church of Christ and Bimlesh Prasad, who had returned from New Zealand after completing 2 years of Biblical Studies at South Pacific Bible College(www.spbc.org.nz).

The church has reached out to countless individuals through invitation, faith sharing, campaigns, personal Bible Studies, Worldwide Bible Study correspondence courses and other projects. Over 150 christians have been added to his number. Praise God! Today the Capital City church of Christ has over 50 committed members from various religious and cultural backgrounds. Our fellowship consists of the many cultures living here. Our faith is represented by the Chinese, Tuvaluan, Indo-Fijians, former Muslims and Hindus, and Indigenous Fijians. We are all part of the family at Capital City church of Christ. We are ardent in our belief that He who has started a good work will see to its finish. God is able to make all grace abound toward us and we feel privileged to be part of the spreading of the Kingdom across the sea.
